As autumn settles in and nature slows its rhythm, we are invited to do the same: pause, soften, and restore balance.

This one-day retreat is designed to help you do precisely that through the deeply healing practice of restorative yoga.

At the core of the event is restorative yoga, a gentle, fully supported style of yoga where the body is placed in comfortable postures with the aid of props.

These poses are held for several minutes, giving the body time to unwind and the nervous system the opportunity to shift into deep rest. This practice calms the mind, replenishes energy, and restores a sense of equilibrium, making it a perfect antidote to stress, fatigue, and the transition into seasonal changes.

To deepen this experience, the day also initially incorporates somatic movement: intuitive floor-based exercises to awaken awareness and gently prepare the body for stillness.

Breathwork will also include simple techniques to help balance and regulate the nervous system, improving the body’s ability to relax.

And, of course, the powerful Yoga Nidra will conclude the one-day retreat with a guided meditation for integration, leaving the day with deep relaxation and clarity.

Laurent’s unique style and blend of restorative practices and techniques are simple and fuss-free. He believes that less is more when it comes to using props, making the practice easier to remember and repeat at home, and more importantly, more effective.

Your one-day retreat programme:

  • Morning: Somatic yoga and breathwork: awaken awareness, release effort, and regulate the nervous system.
  • Lunch: Bring your own meal or enjoy one of the local cafés.
  • Afternoon: Restorative yoga with a somatic touch: supported postures, softening into stillness, and nourishing the whole system.
  • Closing: Guided Yoga Nidra: Integration through Deep Rest.
