Somatic Masterclass: Spiralling into Emergence
Continuing the theme of the February session, as early March unfolds, nature begins its quiet emergence. Plants spiral upwards, stretching toward the light while staying rooted in the earth.
This 90-minute somatic workshop will explore spiralling as a bridge between rest and renewal. Through breath-led movement, Feldenkrais principles, and mindful yoga, we will gently awaken the body, release deeply held winter tension and invite flexibility and fluidity into our transitions.
Together, we will:
- Explore spiralling movements to awaken the spine, arms, shoulders, legs, and hips.
- Engage in spiralling breath, inviting the body to expand with ease and elegance rather than force.
- Balance grounding and upward energy, like plants reaching while remaining rooted.
- Honour the body’s natural rhythms as we transition towards the brighter months.
This session is about unfolding at your own pace, following the wisdom of nature, and moving from the inside out, just as the first shoots of spring spiral into the world with grace and curiosity.
Open to all levels and abilities.
