The Bones Series – A Somatic Journey Through Your Skeleton | Skull, Neck & Jaw
This is the final masterclass in The Bones Series – A Somatic Journey Through Your Skeleton. Each class in the series focuses on a different part of the skeleton and combines somatic movement, gentle weight-bearing, and meditative rest to improve how you move, rest, and feel in your daily life.
In this closing session, we focus on the skull, neck, and jaw, areas that influence orientation, expression, and ease. Tension here often shows up as jaw tightness, teeth grinding, headaches, or stiffness in the neck, all of which can affect how we sleep, focus, and interact with the world.
Through mindful exploration, you will:
- Soften and release jaw tension, including habits such as teeth grinding.
- Improve neck mobility and reduce stiffness.
- Balance the head on the spine for lighter, more effortless posture.
- Experience deep rest by allowing the head and neck to fully release into support.
You will need a quiet space, loose and comfortable clothing, and props such as blankets, pillows, or bolsters to help create ease and support.
This masterclass is open to all, including beginners, and is especially supportive if you are recovering from injuries or surgeries, or simply wish to deepen your self-awareness and connection. Recordings are available for 30 days after the full series. If you book this session as a drop-in, access will only apply to this class, not the previous ones.
