This workshop is about taking care of your spine, which is like the backbone of your body. It helps you stand tall and strong and feel balanced throughout your life. Keeping your spine flexible and healthy makes you feel happy and well.
During this workshop, we’ll learn how our spine affects our whole body. Moving our spine means moving our entire body, and relaxing the spine relaxes the whole body, too.
In this workshop, we’ll do safe and specific movements and poses to make our spine more flexible and energetic. We’ll use techniques from somatic yoga, Scaravelli Inspire yoga, and breathing and meditation to connect deeply with our spine.
We’ll also explore something called the ‘Spinal Wave,’ which is all about letting our spine move naturally during yoga. Instead of forcing our body into specific shapes, we’ll let our spine flow like a wave. This helps us feel more free, strong, and open.
The Spinal Wave comes from our breath and goes all the way from the bottom of our spine to the top of our head. You can feel it in poses like cat-cow, twists, and gentle backbends.
By going with the gentle movements of our spine, we’ll discover a stronger connection to our bodies and tap into our body’s wisdom and energy.
You will depart this workshop feeling both invigorated and revitalised while also experiencing a sense of tranquillity and serenity.
This workshop can provide valuable assistance when dealing with back stiffness and discomfort.
