This two and a half hour, multi-layered yoga workshop will help us to explore and discover the area that we call the lower body. It will have a particular focus on the roles and the multiple functions of the psoas muscle, the diaphragm and what we call in many physical fitness classes the ‘core’.
This workshop is not merely about giving you a six pack, instead, it is a holistic practice which will look at the different ways the above muscles influence our health, our body, our breathing, our energies, and our physical practice. Furthermore, we will interrogate how they connect and work together to help us feel secure and balanced in our bodies.
