This Privacy Policy explains how Terra Training Ltd and Laurent Roure, together trading as Yogalaurent, collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use yogalaurent.com or purchase our services.

What Data We Collect

We collect personal data in the following ways:

When you contact us: Name, email address, and any information you include in your message. If you book a discovery call via Calendly, your name, email address, and the details of your enquiry are collected and received by us.

When you sign up to our newsletter: Name and email address, managed via Mailchimp.

When you book a class: Class bookings are processed through Momence. Momence collects your name, email address, and payment details directly. We receive booking data and may store it in Google Sheets for administrative purposes.

When you book a retreat: Retreat bookings are processed through WeTravel. WeTravel collects your name, email address, phone number, and payment details. We receive booking data and may store and process it using Make.com and Google Sheets for retreat management and planning purposes.

When you enrol in teacher training: Payments are processed through Stripe, which collects your name, email address, billing address, phone number, and card details. We do not store your card details. We receive confirmation of payment and your contact details.

If you accepted marketing cookies before booking, our server also sends Meta a record of your purchase once payment is confirmed. The record contains:

• your email address and phone number in hashed form, meaning they are converted into a scrambled code before sending, so they are not sent in plain text, and Meta uses that code to match the purchase to a Facebook or Instagram account
• your IP address and browser details
• Meta's cookie identifiers
• the programme and order value
• a booking reference

We do this only to measure which adverts lead to enrolments. If you did not accept marketing cookies, nothing is sent.

When you visit this website: With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This includes pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies and an online identifier, so we treat this as personal data even though it does not identify you by name. We also use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search results. Search Console does not set cookies on your device or collect data about individual visitors.

If you accept marketing cookies, we also use the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram adverts lead to visits and bookings. The Pixel tells Meta which pages you view and when you book, together with your IP address, browser details and Meta's cookie identifiers. If you arrive from one of our adverts or emails, we record the campaign that brought you on your first visit, so that a later booking can be linked to it. These campaign details are stored with your booking in our internal booking and customer records. If you decline marketing cookies, none of this happens. Each cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy.

Advertising Measurement with Meta

For the collection of data on this website and its transfer to Meta, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers. Meta is responsible for how it uses the data once received, including for delivering and improving its advertising services, and for responding to requests about that data. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Respond to enquiries and booking requests
• Process payments and manage enrolments
• Send newsletters and marketing communications (only where you have opted in)
• Manage retreat and training participant lists
• Monitor and improve website performance
• Measure which of our adverts and emails lead to visits and bookings, where you have consented
• Meet our legal and contractual obligations

Legal Basis for Processing

Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following legal bases:

• Contract: To fulfil bookings, process payments, and deliver services you have purchased.
• Legitimate interests: To respond to enquiries and manage our business operations.
• Consent: To send marketing emails, to use analytics cookies such as Google Analytics, and to use marketing cookies and share related data with Meta to measure our advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer of any page, or by contacting us. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
• Legal obligation: Where we are required to retain data by law.

• Stripe: payment processing for teacher training
• WeTravel: retreat booking and payment processing
• Momence: class booking and payment processing

• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd: advertising measurement through the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, only with your consent
• Make.com: data automation and workflow management
• Zapier: data automation between our booking and customer records
• Google Workspace (Google LLC): data storage and administration
• Supabase: secure hosting of our internal customer records
• Tally: online forms, including syllabus downloads and enquiries
• ZeroBounce: email address checking on enquiry forms
• Thinkific: teacher training student portal
• Zoom: live online classes and training
• Mailgun: transactional email delivery
• Vercel: website hosting

Some of these services process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this is the case, appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide our services and meet our legal obligations. If you would like us to delete your data, please contact us at contact@yogalaurent.com.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
