What graduates say

The breathwork teacher training was an absolute game-changer. Laurent's expertise and support created a strongly educational and transformative experience. I now feel confident and excited to share breathwork's positive impact with others.

Kristina

Yoga Teacher, Vienna

Laurent is a very experienced and knowledgeable teacher. I enrolled with little experience and left feeling confident and motivated. The course is full of useful advice and tools to add to my practices both with clients and on a personal level.

Aga K

Yoga Teacher, Brighton

I am very grateful that you shared this knowledge with me. Your style of teaching was extremely accessible, authentic, and empowering and I absolutely loved the course. I already use many of the techniques in my classes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know

Is this training only for yoga teachers?

No. Everyone is welcome.

I have taught breathwork to nurses in hospital settings, therapists working with trauma, physiotherapists supporting chronic pain, corporate wellbeing coordinators, counsellors, bodyworkers, and yes, yoga teachers too.

Each brought their own perspective and context, and each learned to adapt the practices for the people they serve.

Breathwork and pranayama are not owned by any single discipline. The breath belongs to everyone, and the techniques can be offered in countless settings — from therapy rooms to care homes, from private practice to workplace wellbeing programmes.

What matters is your willingness to learn, your capacity to hold space for others with care, and your commitment to practising what you teach.

What are my training options?

There are three ways to join this training, depending on where you are in your breathwork journey.

If you are beginning with breathwork and pranayama, the 60-Hour Fundamentals Training gives you everything you need to teach with confidence. You will learn the anatomy and science, practise the techniques yourself, develop your teaching voice, and understand how to adapt practices for different people and settings. This is a complete standalone qualification.

If you know you want to specialise in mental health applications from the start, the 100-Hour Advanced Professional Training takes you deeper. This includes all four fundamentals weekends, then continues with three additional weekends focused specifically on anxiety, trauma, insomnia, burnout, and building therapeutic programmes.

If you have already completed the 60-hour training with me, you can join the 40-Hour Advanced Component directly. These three weekends cover the mental health specialisation without repeating the foundations you already know.

When does the Autumn 2026 training run?

The 60-hour Foundation Training runs across four weekends:

Weekend 1: 2 to 4 October 2026 Weekend 2: 16 to 18 October 2026 Weekend 3: 30 October to 1 November 2026 Weekend 4: 13 to 15 November 2026

Session times (UK time): Friday 14:00 to 17:30, Saturday 13:00 to 17:30, Sunday 09:00 to 13:00.

The 40-hour Advanced Component runs across three weekends:

Weekend 1: 4 to 6 December 2026 Weekend 2: 18 to 20 December 2026 Weekend 3: 8 to 10 January 2027

Session times: Friday 14:00 to 17:30, Saturday 13:00 to 17:00, Sunday 09:00 to 12:30.

All sessions are delivered live via Zoom. Recordings are provided for every session.

How long is each training weekend?

Each weekend follows the same rhythm, giving you time to practise, integrate, and rest between sessions.

Friday afternoons run from 14:00 to 17:30 UK time. This allows you to finish your working week before we begin, and gives us a gentle entry into the weekend's focus.

Saturday sessions are 13:00 to 17:30 UK time. We use this longer session for deeper practice and teaching development.

Sunday mornings run from 09:00 to 13:00 UK time, finishing early so you have the rest of your day to reflect, rest, or prepare for the week ahead.

All sessions happen live via Zoom. Recordings of every session are provided and remain accessible for one year.

Can I miss a weekend?

All sessions are recorded, so you can catch up if unavoidable circumstances arise. However, I strongly recommend attending live whenever possible.

The learning does not happen simply by watching. It happens through practising together, receiving feedback in real time, observing how others work with the techniques, and asking questions as they arise.

For certification, you must complete all required hours. Missing a weekend does not disqualify you, but it does mean taking responsibility for catching up thoroughly.

Life happens. I understand that. Just know that your learning will be richer and more embodied when you are present with the group.

What will I be qualified to do after completing this training?

After the 60-hour Fundamentals Training, you will be ready to teach foundational breathwork and pranayama with confidence. You can lead classes in studios, community settings, or corporate environments, offer one-to-one sessions, and integrate breathwork into your existing practice. This is a complete professional qualification, certified by Yoga Alliance Professionals UK.

After the 100-hour Advanced Professional Training, you can work more specifically with mental health — supporting clients experiencing anxiety, stress, insomnia, and burnout using trauma-sensitive approaches. The 100-hour certification qualifies you to register as a TrainerPro member with Yoga Alliance Professionals UK.

But honestly, the qualification matters less than your competence. The certificate opens doors. What keeps them open is your ability to guide others skilfully and teach from genuine understanding.

What is included in the training fee?

Everything you need to complete the training and continue learning afterwards.

All live teaching sessions via Zoom are included. You will have one year of access to session recordings and the online learning portal, which contains practice audios, worksheets, reading materials, and integration resources.

I provide written feedback on your assignments individually. You also receive one complimentary 30-minute mentoring session with me, which you can use during or after the training.

Upon successful completion, you receive your certificate and Yoga Alliance Professionals UK accreditation.

Additional mentoring beyond the complimentary session is £60 per 30 minutes. Your annual YAUK membership fee is separate if you choose to register.

Can people outside the UK attend?

Yes. The training is delivered online, so you can join from anywhere in the world.

All session times are listed in UK time. The recordings provide flexibility if live attendance becomes difficult due to time differences, though being present for the live sessions gives you the fullest learning experience.

I have taught students from across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. The breath belongs to everyone, and this training is designed to be accessible wherever you are.

Does the training cover mental health applications?

The 60-hour Fundamentals training introduces how the breath affects the nervous system and why these practices support stress, anxiety, and general wellbeing. This foundation prepares you to teach breathwork safely in most settings.

If you want to work specifically with mental health, you need the advanced component — either as part of the 100-hour training, or as the standalone 40-hour programme if you have already completed the 60-hour fundamentals.

The advanced work explores trauma-sensitive approaches and working with anxiety, insomnia, burnout, and depression. There is a clear difference between supporting general wellbeing and working therapeutically. The question is which level of training matches the work you intend to do.

Will I receive ongoing support after completing the training?

You have access to all session recordings and course materials through the online portal for one year.

The complimentary 30-minute mentoring session can be used during the training or within three months after completion.

Beyond that, additional mentoring is available at £60 per 30 minutes. Many graduates choose occasional check-ins as they begin teaching or when they encounter a challenge with a particular client.

The training is designed to give you genuine competence and confidence to work independently. But real learning continues long after the formal training ends, and I am here if you need guidance.

Is this training expensive?

The investment reflects the depth and scope of what you receive — live teaching, one year of portal access, recorded sessions, written assignment feedback, and professional certification.

That said, we have designed the pricing to be as accessible as possible. Early booking rewards commitment, and payment plans are available for those who need them. Contact us to discuss what works for your situation.

If you are genuinely committed to developing your practice and supporting others with breathwork, this training will meet you where you are.
